Ok now on to business... Hannah's List

The first book I would like to discuss is called Hannah's List. It is written by Debbie Macomber. She is a New York Times best selling author, a Newsweek best selling author, among numerous other awards she has received. I picked up one of her books called Hannah's List and instantly fell in love with her writing style and how emotionally connected I felt with the characters almost instantly. She quickly soared to the top of my favorite author list. Hannah's List was both inventive and inspiring. The basic story line is about a man named Michael who lost his wife, Hannah, to ovarian cancer pretty unexpectedly. On the one year anniversary of her death, Hannah's brother( who is also Michael's best friend) presented Michael with a letter written by his late wife before she passed. In the letter she tells him he wants him to marry again. She then proceeds to give him a list of three women that she would like him to get to know a little better. I loved this book from beginning to end and felt like I was being led through the story right along side the main characters. If I were to rate this book I would give it 5 out of 5 stars for quality and 3.5 out of 5 stars for content (meaning how much questionable material has been included.) Although the book was clean and the few suggestive comments that there were in the book were tasteful it did have four B- words on two pages. These were said by a small character and the main character Michael shoved him up against a wall because of them. Still I can't look past that. There were no other cuss words in the book.
